Sample Menus

What we put in our mouths is so important!

I pride myself in providing great quality foods to the children in my daycare. The children are fed homemade meals every day. Meal plans include organic and non-GMO food. Processed foods are very limited, and all foods are free of refined sugars and artificial food dyes. Our meals are served "family-style", so the children have the opportunity to learn independence. They help themselves to the food, learning portion They love being able to be in control of what is happening in their world, no matter how big or small!

Breakfast

Monday-Pancakes-homemade, whole grain pancakes, made without refined sugars, served with fresh cut cantaloupe

Tuesday-Egg bake-organic eggs, baked with a variety of fresh cut veggies, served with homemade shredded hashbrowns

Wednesday-Homemade rice pudding-made with brown rice, served with mixed berries and cinnamon

Thursday-Banana bread-homemade organic whole grain banana bread made without refined sugars, served with fresh cut pear slices

Friday-Breakfast sausage links and veggie fritters- freshly shredded zucchini, carrots, and a mixture of other veggies

Monday-Tuna Macaroni salad made with whole grain pasta, served with carrots and a banana

Tuesday-BBQ pulled pork sandwich, served with whole grain bun, homemade coleslaw, and fresh cut peaches

Wednesday-Homemade cheeseburger and potato soup, served with orange slices and a homemade breadstick

Thursday- Turkey commercial, served with whole grain bread, mashed potatoes, gravy and fresh cut pineapple

Friday- Homemade corndogs-made with whole grain breading and honey, served with oven baked, homemade sweet potato fried and watermelon slices

Monday- Apple nachos-thinly sliced apples, drizzled with peanut butter and topped with raisins

Tuesday- Ham and turkey slices, served with crackers

Wednesday- Banana pinwheels-bananas, rolled in a whole grain tortilla with peanut butter, and sliced

Thursday- Cheese stick served with grapes

Friday- Homemade carrot and coconut muffins, made without refined sugars, and served with honeydew
